Currys eGift Card Terms and Conditions

1. Currys Gift Cards can be used as payment towards products and services from Currys Stores within the UK or online at currys.co.uk.
2. Currys Gift Cards may not be exchanged for cash or vouchers.
3. The minimum amount to activate this card is £10 and the maximum credit amount is £1000.
4. There is no right to cancel an online Gift Card order once the Gift Card has been spent in full or part.
5. Currys gift cards cannot be use to purchase airtime, or certain mobile phones and accessories
6. The Gift Card will expire 24 months after the last use or balance enquiry and any remaining balance will be deducted.
7. A Currys Gift Card remains the property of Currys.
8. Currys cannot be held liable for Gift Cards, once activated, which are subsequently lost, stolen, damaged or defaced.
9. The funds on a Gift Card are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In the unlikely event of the issuer of this product becoming insolvent some funds on the card may not be available to spend.
10. Currys reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so (e.g. to change the scope of the Gift Card service, notify of the service's withdrawal or in the event of circumstances beyond its control). Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.
11. By activating and/or redeeming a Currys Gift Card you accept and agree to these terms and conditions.
12. The balance of the Gift Card can be checked in any Currys store (UK only) or online at www.currys.co.uk/giftcards via balance checker.

• In brief - We’re happy for company logos, brand names and other registered trademarks or devices to be used in your personalisation, so long as you have full rights and authority to use such brands and logos. If you don’t, or you’re not sure, please don’t use them.
• Think first – if you think the image or words you use could cause offence or upset to others then don’t use them. We’re not super-prudes but there are some absolute no-go areas which are listed below.
• Not for resale -  Being able to personalise your Currys Gift Card makes for a great personal gift, but we can’t allow use for intended resale purposes.

1. You must have permission to use the images (photographs) that you upload to the service. You are responsible for all content you upload and we shall not have any liability.
2. You will not upload an offensive, profane or pornographic image to this service.
3. Your personalised message or image must not be offensive, profane or be intended to threaten, cause offence, annoyance, embarrassment or distress to any person.
4. We reserve the right to reject orders that in our absolute discretion are offensive, indecent, pornographic, promote discrimination based on race, sex, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age or that in our opinion might incite hatred or violence.
5. User uploaded content will not give the impression that it is endorsed by or otherwise emanates from Currys.

Other T&Cs for eGift Cards purchased online

1. Sales of Currys eGift Cards are made, managed and fulfilled by Voucher Express - a trading name of Hemingways Marketing Services Ltd, Metcalfe House, 23H Kirkgate, Ripon. HG4 1PB, established 1947 and registered in England 453174. VAT Reg No: 169725424. Voucher Express is the seller of the eGift Cards.
2. eGift Cards ordered through this site will be sent by Voucher Express to the delivery address(es) stated on each individual order. Deliveries will be made using Royal Mail services. 
3. eGift Cards will normally be dispatched by Voucher Express within two working days unless a specified later delivery date is requested. Where possible we will try to meet all delivery requirements but neither Voucher Express nor Currys shall be liable for any loss incurred either directly or indirectly by failure to meet the delivery date and time indicated at the time of order being placed. ‘Loss’ in this instance includes loss of profit, costs, damages, charges or other expenses.
4. Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payments in full. Neither Voucher Express nor Currys can be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged eGift Cards following delivery to the recipient. eGift Cards will NOT be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged. Neither Voucher Express nor Currys is responsible for funds on the card used without your knowledge.
5. Currys eGift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and cash refunds will not be available for products purchased with this card. Voucher Express is not directly linked to Currys and can take no responsibility for products and services offered by Currys. For the same reason, Currys shall not be responsible for services offered by Voucher Express and its associated companies, including without limitation the collection and management of your credit card data and personal information which is collected, processed and managed by Voucher Express.
6. eGift Card quantities should be checked immediately upon receipt. Any discrepancies must be notified immediately. Voucher Express cannot be held responsible for shortage or loss of any eGift Cards not notified to us within three days of delivery.
7. Cleared payment is required prior to the dispatch of orders. Payment is taken automatically at the time of purchase by Voucher Express. Your credit/debit card statement will read 'Voucher Express'. We reserve the right to decline any order without providing explanation. Currys will not be given access to your credit/debit card details.
8. Currys eGift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. eGift Cards which are defaced, altered or cancelled will not be accepted in Currys stores.
9. The re-sale of eGift Cards sold via this website is strictly prohibited.
10. Your use of this website is governed by these Terms and Conditions and construed and enforced in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Disputes arising from your use of this website and the services we provide are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
11. Force Majeure: Voucher Express cannot be held responsible for failure to meet its service obligations when any failure is brought about due to some cause totally beyond its reasonable control. Examples of this might include: acts of God, trade disputes; governmental intervention, fire, flood, and disruption to computer and IT infrastructure.
12. Breach of these conditions will entitle Voucher Express to seek the appropriate legal remedy available for injunction, damages or otherwise.
